Expert Witness
John Hunter has prepared reports on over 250 occasions over the past 20 years on a mixture of delay and quantum matters and has appeared as an expert witness on quantum, project management and programming matters in several major international arbitrations in Scotland, London and Geneva and in the Scottish Courts including Edinburgh Sheriff Court in which the Judge commended him for the presentation of the expert evidence.

The majority of John’s expert work takes place in the private world of international arbitration and adjudication where he is highly respected for the depth of his technical expertise, integrity and clear thinking. He has a pragmatic approach to expert witness work which has been commended by tribunals on numerous occasions.
Recent quantum reports include quantum on a £750 million Turkish Rail Project for Japanese clients in an international arbitration including oral evidence in two arbitrations in Geneva and London, and numerous reports on defective works on major office developments, leisure centres car parks and wind farms.
Recent delay reports include forensic analysis on a major tunnelling project in Glasgow, a Water Treatment Facility, and high rise construction works in London.
