Services have included:
Expert Witness services to a Japanese conglomerate on a rail infrastructure project in Asia including expert testimony in international arbitrations in Geneva and London.Expert witness services to a blue chip UK contractor on a major Naval Base project including appearing in two extensive arbitrations in London and mediation. The matter was finally resolved through negotiation.
Expert witness services to an international dredging contractor on a landmark harbour development on a number of adjudications.
Commercial advice to an international civil engineering company on the resolution of disputes over a major water services tunneling project in the UK. The matters were resolved through negotiation aided significantly by the input of Hunter Consulting bringing the whole team together.
Commercial Advice to a leading Scottish University on a multimillion pound dispute over the refurbishment of a landmark city centre building including representation in an extensive adjudication where a successful defence led to a negotiated settlement of the whole project. The service included working closely as part of a team with the design, project management and commercial teams including in house personnel, and brokering meetings with the contractor to collectively bring about a solution using a whole range of dispute resolution techniques combined with in depth technical and commercial experience.
Adjudicating on a number of key adjudications on the Edinburgh Trams project on matters material to the conduct of the whole project.
Evidence given during the inquiry contained the following:
